Why CMC?

CMC has been owned by the Carrier family since it was founded in 1984. Building on the success of its first project, a mausoleum, the company expanded and focused its business on the funeral industry: mausoleums, funeral homes and columbaria. Expanding its product range, CMC has diversified with the construction of large-scale commercial and industrial projects.

From the beginning, CMC has stood out from its competitors in different ways. We pay close attention to all of our clients' needs, no matter the size of the project. Our ability to successfully carry out complex projects and to effectively maintain and renovate existing structures hinges on our employees' solid experience and their adherence to our values: respect for the client's needs, rigour and a desire for a job well done.

Moreover, we always entrust the main steps of a project to our multidisciplinary team: management and supervision of the work, formwork and pouring of concrete (structures and crypts), aluminum niche manufacturing, and marble and granite installation; thus, ensuring compliance with CMC quality standards while keeping to on-time schedules.

Another way that CMC stands out is through its search for new products and designs. For example, we created the curved glass-front niche and the outdoor columbarium with a dome, cupola, colonnade and curved unit with towers. We have also produced a number of avant-garde designs for mausoleums and columbaria.

Lastly, CMC’s financial stability makes the company a reliable partner with a very good performance bond capacity that enjoys an excellent reputation among industry professionals, municipalities and subcontractors.

One of our main strengths lies in the special relationships we develop with our clients. We have worked with many of our customers for years.
